Norton Grange - Isle of Wight - We said major announcements were coming soon for 2014, & we are delighted to announce them on the website first - The 2014 Isle of Wight event takes place at Warner's, Norton Grange on the 28th - 31st March & features the sensational Jive Aces, Gerry Brown's Mission Hall Jazz Band, The Dart Valley Stompers, The Millennium Eagle Jazz Band, plus The Big Reunion of the New Orleans All Stars - Jim McIntosh (Banjo), Laurie Chescoe (Drums), Roger Myerscough (Clarinet), Micky Cooke (Trombone) Trefor "Fingers" Williams (Double Bass), plus Denny Ilett (Trumpet) & the wonderful vocals of Miss Christine Tyrrell!! This is an event you do not want to miss!!!

Scarborough - 1st - 4th November 2013 - Returning by demand for the November weekend is Miss Christine Tyrrell who was sensational at the March event and we are delighted she has agreed to return in November!!

Jump Jive & Swing Weekend at Blackpool 8th - 11th November 2013 - Dance Tutors & DJ now booked for 2013. Venture Away UK are delighted to announce that G.I. JIVE - Ian & Sheilagh Hartley will be in attendance at Blackpool. Learn to dance the Lindyhop & Jive - whether you are an intermediate or beginner. ian will also be the DJ at Blackpool bringing you a selection of Jump Jive & Swing numbers sure to get your feet moving throughout the weekend!! The weekend also features the Swing Commanders, Jump, Jive & Wail, Greggi G & His Crazy Gang, The Fabulous Boogie Boys, Jeremy Huggett's Band of Gold, & Hot Banana.

Blackpool - Jazz & Lights - Places available for Jazz Weekend at Blackpool 6th - 9th September 2013 featuring from the Netherlands - The Limehouse Jazz Band, plus The Bateman Brothers Jazz Band, The Dart Valley Stompers, The Chicago Teddy Bear Society Jazz Band plus the delightful tones of Miss Christine Tyrrell.

Venture Away UK music weekends provides Jump Jive & Swing Weekends, as well as Traditional Jazz Weekends across the UK. We have been successfully organising music weekends for the past 14 years, and pride ourselves on offering you a great festival experience. Our Jump Jive & Swing Weekend takes place in Blackpool at the Norbreck Castle Hotel which boasts a fabulous large sprung dance floor for the event. 2013 sees bands like the Swing Commanders, & Jump Jive & Wail performing during the weekend, plus dance tuition from the experts - G.I.
