Mark Keeley's Good Rockin' Tonight

After a superb opening appearance at Blackpool in November 2021 -  this fabulous band is back once again @ The Savoy, Blackpool in 2026. A firm favourite amongst the Venture Away audience this band is one of the finest on the circuit today in the UK.

Good Rockin’ Tonight have established themselves as the UK’s No1 Rock n Roll Show and are sensational whenever they appear. This band have been wowing audiences for the past 20+ years and long may it continue.

The band is fronted by the very talented and dynamic Mark keeley (lead vocals/Guitar/Piano) and they have even had TV appearances over the years as well.

This brilliant four piece is made up of Mark Keeley, John O’Malley, Kurt Simms & Daz Leggatt.

The Kingcats

This five piece band love the music they play, and this is demonstrated when on stage. The Kingcats know well how to keep a dance floor filled, in fact the only complaint might be from the dancers wanting a break!

While the sound takes you back to The Sun Studio era, the Kingcats are not just a 50's cover band far from it. The delivery of Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent classics to name but a few, as well as tracks from some of the lesser known artists of the time will have you thinking you are in Memphis 55' but what sets The Kingcats apart is that when they strike up there self penned numbers you will not be able to tell the difference.

No wonder these guys are known as one of the hottest rock and roll bands around. Bill, Kevin & the rest of the band are a class act and we are delighted they are returning to Blackpool in 2026.

Lucas & The Dynamo's

A fabulous Band that is making a Final Return to Blackpool in 2026, as at the end of 2026 the band will be finishing up and going out on a high.

So we have booked the band for one final appearance at The Savoy Hotel in Blackpool - Where's the Sombrero's?

Every song played delivers a great authentic sound. Every song invites you to dance. 

Making a rare appearance in Blackpool we are delighted to have Lucas & The Dynamo's join us one final time. One band not to be missed!

NEW BAND FOR 2026

Venture Away is delighted to welcome a new band to our Blackpool Weekend in March 2026 - Peter Gill & The Good Time Charlie's. This is a dedicated pumpin’ piano rock ‘n’ roll and boogie band which gives Peter an opportunity to perform some personal favourites.

Naturally it is piano driven and the repertoire includes a good mix of rock ‘n’ roll ( Lucille, Little Queenie, Promised Land, Twenty Flight Rock, Rocket 88, Mystery Train, You Never Can Tell, Stagger Lee  etc), boogie ( Down The Road Apiece, Mess Around, Tipitina, Well Okay Alright You Win  etc), and even some blues ( My Babe, High Heeled Sneakers)  and country ( Me and Bobby McGee, Jambalaya  etc).

The performances always include uptempo, strollers and slows.

This band has been playing great shows across the UK, from Great Yarmouth to Cornwall all thew way back to there home town in Scotland.
