This outstanding band is making a very rare appearance in Skegness in 2027 and this is one gig you do not want to miss! Long may they play - they always produce a memorable performance full of dance floor fillers.

Good Rockin’ Tonight have established themselves as the UK’s No1 Rock n Roll Show and are sensational whenever they appear. This band have been wowing audiences for the past 20+ years and long may it continue.

The band is fronted by the very talented and dynamic Mark keeley (lead vocals/Guitar/Piano) and they have even had TV appearances over the years as well.

We are delighted that the guys have agreed to join us at Skegness in 2027!

A True 4 piece Rock & Roll band from Oxfordshire - we are delighted to welcome this band to Paignton in 2026 following rave reviews at our Blackpool & Skegness events.

Always a pleasure to have this band join us at Venture Away Music Weekends, they bring a greatv vibe and are one of our favourite bands.

Johnny & The Jailbirds

Johnny & The Jailbirds (Johnny Red) are recognised as one of the top acts on the circuit and who have been performing for many years. The band members between them have a very wide range of experience ranging from playing in small private venues to performing all over Europe. The band covers a wide spectrum of music legends from the 1950's covering the Rock & Roll scene.

The Midnight Dynamo's

The Midnight Dynamos, originally started out as a duo created by Steve & Colin back in 1993,
featuring real life brothers Colin Temple on Guitar and Lead Vocals and Steve Temple on Drums and Vocals.

Originally Colin & Steve didn’t know what to call the duo and several names where suggested including “Cost”
which are the first 2 letters of both their names but due to the lack of confidence in that name another
one was suggested - Midnight Dynamos, a hit record for a band called Matchbox in the Eighties and the brothers
loved the name and the song and thought it would be perfect for the name of the Duo, permission
was granted for use of the name by Mr Graham Fenton the lead singer with Matchbox and the song writer
Steve Bloomfield who wrote the song and also the lead guitarist with Matchbox was over joyed that they
wanted to use this name so Midnight Dynamos began.

The Midnight Dynamos are still wowing venues all over the country with there drive of 50s rock ‘n’ roll music,
harmonies, superb musicianship, there own unique style of performance and a full dance
?floor is certainly a must with the boys.

The Midnight Dynamo's will be making there 2nd Appearance for Venture Away Music Weekends at Skegness and we are delighted that they will be joining us on the Sunday for a great set!

Darrel Higham & The Enforcers

Born in Bedford, England in 1970, Higham grew up listening to the music of Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochran. Through the influence of these artists, Higham took up the guitar in his early teens and joined his first band whilst still at school.

In 1992 he spent 6 months living in the USA; touring and recording with Eddie Cochran’s original backing band, The Kelly Four. His first solo album was released in 1995 on Nervous Records, entitled Mobile Corrosion. 

Higham played lead guitar in the West End production of Elvis: The Musical in 1996. He co-wrote the first biography on his musical hero, Eddie Cochran for Mainstream Publishing in 2000. 

In 2007, Higham started work with Stray Cats drummer, Slim Jim Phantom. Together they recorded 2 albums and toured Europe, even making an appearance on BBC’s Later With Jools in 2012.

He has played guitar for Robert Plant, Jools Holland, Imelda May, Sharon Shannon, Shakin’ Stevens, Jeff Beck, Billy Lee Riley, Rocky Burnette, Bono, Paul McCartney, to name but a few.

Glenn Darren & The Krew Katz

Venture Away is delighted to welcome back this fabulous band with their charismatic leader and our Host & Compere Lord Glenn Darren, the Krew Katz are certain to get you on your feet dancing the night away. This quality Rock & Roll band from Nottingham is known and loved by many. 
This band are regulars at all our weekends and they open the show everywhere they go and set a feel good factor as soon as the weekend begins and we are delighted they are joining us in Skegness for another great performance from Glenn, Dave, Andy & Laura - Did someone say Dance?.
Songs include - Marie Marie, Move It, Goodnight Irene, Roll on (Clickety Clack) Shakin' All Over, Rock & Roll Funeral & a whole lot more! Plus some Solo's from Laura as well!

What a great find this band has been - Venture Away Music Weekends is always open to giving new quality bands an opening on our weekends and The Shoetown Boys are no exception. We are delighted they are coming to Skegness to entertain you all on the Saturday afternoon - let's give them all a very warm welcome in Skegness and enjoy the show.
