Join us in 2026 for an action packed weekend of scintillating music, dancing and all round entertainment. The weekend is staged at The Beverley Park Holiday Park in Paignton the heart of the English Riviera. All music, dancing and entertainment takes place in the superb Starlight Bar which has a Large sized Dance Floor ideal for the event.

You can relax during the day in the Indoor Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room & Jacuzzi. Plus there are other activities including mini golf. Every Caravan/Lodge has heating throughout the bedrooms and lounge as well as Fully Fitted Kitchens so you can self-cater and make your own food during your stay or you can visit The Jetty Lounge Bar & Terrace for an array of meals during your stay.

In addition to the bands & dance tuition there will be a record stall as well as Vintage clothing/record stall present as well.

Mark Keeley's Good Rockin' Tonight

This outstanding band is making a very rare appearance in Paignton in 2026 and this is one gig you do not want to miss! Long may they play - they always produce a memorable performance full of dance floor fillers.

Good Rockin’ Tonight have established themselves as the UK’s No1 Rock n Roll Show and are sensational whenever they appear. This band have been wowing audiences for the past 20+ years and long may it continue.

The band is fronted by the very talented and dynamic Mark keeley (lead vocals/Guitar/Piano) and they have even had TV appearances over the years as well.

We are delighted that the guys have agreed to join us at Paignton in 2026!

Glenn Darren & The Krew Katz

Venture Away & Glenn Darren is a great combination, we love them and we know you the audience love them too!

Hey - Let's Rock & Roll!

We are delighted to welcome back this fabulous band with their charismatic leader Glenn Darren, the Krew Katz are certain to get you on your feet dancing the night away. This quality Rock & Roll band from Nottingham is known and loved by many.

Who else would open the weekend? The brilliant Lord Glenn Darren will take to the stage with the Krew Katz and perform a great selection of songs including Johnny Be Good, Move it & Roll on (Clickety Clack). Glenn will be with us for the whole weekend as well as your compere.

Joining Glenn on stage will of course be Flat Cap Dave, Andy on drums and Glenn’s daughter Laura.

The Zodiacs

A True 4 piece Rock & Roll band from Oxfordshire - we are delighted to welcome this band to Paignton in 2026 following rave reviews at our Blackpool & Skegness events.

Always a pleasure to have this band join us at Venture Away Music Weekends, they bring a greatv vibe and are one of our favourite bands.

The Roosters

The Roosters, are a 3 piece Rock ‘n’ Roll band of dedicated musicians, travelling throughout the UK. Led by the brilliant Kevin Swain - this band is sure to pack out the Dance Floor.

Having played in many of the top rock ‘n’ roll locations, the band members have played on the rockin’ 50’s scene for many years.

Their 4 albums – Rocket Trip, Crazy Party, Rockin & Flying & Henhouse Riot – incorporate many well known rock ‘n’ roll songs from the 50s together with some lesser known ones – each played in their own individual Rooster style.

Kevin & the band were brilliant at Paignton in 2023 and we are delighted to welcome them back in 2026!

The Mee Kats

Well what can we say - other than we simply love this band! A great show at Paignton in 2025 and they are returning in 2026. There may even be a guest appearance again with them, who knows?

In 2025 they shared the stage with Rockin' Pagan & Glenn Darren, who might join them in 2026?
The Mee Kats started life in 2010 in NE England to perform 1950's rock n roll and rockabilly music. This rockin'
trio was developed by lead singer Colin Mee, who is a veteran of the UK rockin' scene, having played drums in well known rockabilly band the Sure Shots from 1984-1993. Colin is also lead singer of rockabilly trio The Skip Rats since 1987.

The other band members are Rob Brindley on lead guitar who hails from sunny Stoke who started his rockin' career with his band Ignition. Mandy Mee who plays double bass, started out playing with several bands before teaming up with husband Colin and forming hillbilly trio Root'n Toot'n alongside The Mee Kats.

To date The Mee Kats have five releases in the form of a 2 sided 7" vinyl 45rpm single, a 7 track CD "Everybody's Rockin....." a 14 track CD "All Dressed Up" and a 16 track CD "Let's Go Boppin". The 7" 45rpm features 2 tracks written by singer Colin Mee. "Rag Top Baby/Call My Name". The latest recording being a 14 track CD "Rocket Trip" released in October 2021.

Rockin' The Joint

Rockin' the Joint are a 3 piece comprising members who have come together from other long standing premier rock and roll and jive bands. This Dorset band is returning to Beverley Park in 2026 - strollers are you ready?

Between them they bring a wealth of talent and experience playing in the UK and overseas. Band leader, founder member and lead vocalist Mike possesses a fine voice and ability on the guitar. Drummer Jason also takes on some lead vocals, being an avid Elvis fan, and provides harmony vocals on many numbers. Newest member Gary on slap bass and harmony vocals, is also a great guitarist and songwriter.

The group plays material from the 50's and 60's covering all the great artists from Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran to Elvis, plus some self penned tunes composed in the 50's style. The repertoire includes jive, strollers, ballads and doowop, plus a sprinkling of rockabilly. The set is designed to fill a dance floor!

Shane & The Korrado's

WOW WOW WOW, following a simply senasational performance at our Skegness Rock & Roll Weekender in 2024, this band just had to return with us in 2026. We are delighted that this excellent four piece band from Suffolk are joining Venture Away Music Weekends for the first time in Paignton with the brilliant Karl on bass, Jason on lead guitar,, Shane on lead vocals and rhythm guitar and BIG D snapping the snare on the drums! This band play rock n roll and rockabilly covers with plenty of ideas from Elvis! Another band that is sure to keep all the dancers very happy indeed.

The Unconditionals

Another band who are going to be making there debut with Venture Away Music Weekends @ Paignton in 2025 is The Unconditionals.

The Unconditionals - Returning by popluar Demand

After a scintillating performance at Beverley Park in 2025 this band are returning once again to Paignton in 2026 - we simply cannot wait to see Scott & the band perform again!

A 5 Piece 50's Rock 'n' Roll Band

The band is now back at full strenght with 5 members including:
Scott Elvis on Lead Vocals, Louis or James on Lead Guitar & Second Lead Vocal, Graham or Matt on Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals, Steve Dowling on Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals, Lloyd McSweeney on Drums & Backing Vocals.

Rock & Roll from artists like Elvis, Cliff Richard, The Cougars, Buddy Holly, Billy Fury, Eddie Cochran, The Stray Cats, The Shadows & Johnny Cash.

Play it Cool

Play It Cool formed as a four piece band back in 1992 it was the makings of lead singers (second band), Tory Wills! They have played Festivals all over the country as well as doing special shows and supported for great names such as Matchbox, The Firebirds, Flying Saucers ,Restless & Linda Gail Lewis just to name a few.

They have had several Great line ups ...with great Musicians the longest standing being Mr Gary Barker

Fantastic Lead guitarist not forgetting great backing vocals who joined them in 1995.

The latest members are Dave Pitman on drums , a great drummer whose love for rock n roll shows in every performance .Played with many great bands over the years
The new bassist is Colin Bowden an amazing bass player who has recently joined,and very quickly become a favourite.

Dance Tutors

We are pleased to announce that Alistair Fitzgerald from Strictly Jitterbug will once again be in attendance throughout the whole weekend at Paignton. Join in the lessons from Alistair at Beverley Park Holiday Park & your lives could be transformed forever. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate dancer Alistair will teach you to move to the music. Venture Away are delighted to welcome back Strictly Jitterbug to Paignton in 2026 - dance tuition is Friday from 4pm - 5pm, Saturday 10am - 1pm & Sunday 4pm - 5pm.

DJ FOR 2026 - DJ Teddy Boy Ty

Venture Away Music Weekends is delighted to announce that DJ Teddy Boy Ty will be joining us at Paignton for the whole weekend playing all your favourite classic Rock & Roll tunes. Glenn & Ty are regulars on the Rock & Roll scene and they are sure to fill up the dance floor till the early hours.

Accommodation - Caravans/Touring

Beverley Park Holiday Park is a high class holiday park with excellent accommodation plus facilities for everyone. All the accommodation comes with 1 or 2 bedrooms, bed linen, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, lounge with TV, Dining Table. The accommodation is a very modern fleet of caravans and there is heating throughout each unit of accommodation. Please bring Towels with you for this weekend.
